Two Rivers Health Curriculum
| Health |
| Health is designed to prepare students for lifelong decision making, problem solving, critical thinking, and management skills related to health and wellness issues impacting themselves and their families. The primary emphasis is on enabling students to assume an active role in developing healthy lifestyles for themselves and others. The class addresses health promotion, risk reduction, responsibility to self, ownership of behavior, self-awareness, and self-respect. |

Students need to earn a half (0.5) credit of Health to graduate from high school. This course is intended for 9th graders, or anyone else who has not yet earned .5 credits in Health. |

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT |

The student will learn about genealogy, personal relationships, housing, consumer education as well as other topics. |
|
Any student may enroll in this course. Credit is given either as a social studies elective or as an occupational/vocational elective. |
