Who are we?

Two Rivers School is a program of choice emphasizing goal setting and personal responsibility. Students enter the school after completing an intensive three-week Intake Program. We use a non-graded, mastery based evaluation system where a student earns points that are converted into credits. Classes are non-grade-level grouped and a variety of instructional modes are used. Students earn their high school diploma with the completion of twenty-two district approved credits. Our school year is divided into eight, eighteen-day evaluation periods called terms. We have a four-day school week with an alternating schedule, each day having five, seventy-five minute periods.

Serving Snoqualmie Valley Since 1987

We opened our doors in 1987 with 30, eleventh and twelfth grade students needing to make up credits for graduation.  We have grown to a student body of 150 students offering an entire 7-12th grade education at Two Rivers.

Middle & High School

Today we serve a wide diversity of students and some even spend their entire middle and high school years at Two Rivers.

 Basic Skill/GED Preparation

The Basic Skills Classes offers students another avenue to complete their education by preparing them to take the General Educational Development tests.  The GED is best suited for older students (18 and up) with few high school credits.  Students must be under 21 to enter the program at Two Rivers School.

Two Rivers has graduated 357 Graduates since 1987
